Police are once again reporting two cases in which vehicles were broken into in order to steal items from inside.

This appears to be a method currently on the rise. Very recently, an individual contacted RTL after the windows of several cars were smashed in the Pfaffenthal district of the capital, with items taken from the vehicles.

A similar approach was then reported on Thursday in Beggen and in Esch-sur-Alzette. While a bag was stolen from a car in Esch, a camper van was broken into in Beggen. It was searched through, and the perpetrator or perpetrators made off with cash and an electric shaver.
