During the night into Friday, police received a report of a robbery in a car park in Ettelbruck. According to initial information, the victim was sitting in a car with the windows open when two individuals approached on a motorcycle. The suspects allegedly snatched the victim's mobile phone and stole a bag from their lap before fleeing the scene. An investigation has been launched.
Police also reported two burglaries that took place on Thursday and Friday.
On Thursday afternoon, a house on Rue de Dippach in Bertrange was broken into. According to initial findings, the perpetrators forced open a glass door to gain entry and searched several rooms for valuables.
Early on Friday morning, police received a report of a burglary at a house on Rue du Bois in Elvange. Initial information suggests the suspects forced open a terrace door to enter the property. Among the items stolen were watches.
Investigations have been launched in both cases.
