After four police officers were recently arrested under the suspicion of having committed acts of violence, searches were carried out in two of their homes last Thursday.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, the charges brought against the two police officers implicated in this discovery are not directly linked to the main allegations that led to the agents’ temporary detention. Nevertheless, these charges pertain to violations of the law governing drug sales and the fight against drug addiction.
Our colleagues at “Wort” have received confirmation from the Prosecutor’s Office that cannabis was indeed discovered at the residences of two of the accused agents.
During the initial search, a small quantity of cannabis was found, likely intended for the private consumption of the first suspect. In contrast, larger quantities were discovered at the second suspect’s residence, raising suspicions of involvement in drug dealing. According to the same source, it is believed that the second suspect imported the illicit substances from abroad for distribution within the region.
The investigation is still ongoing into these various cases.
