
Their criticism centers around the lingering issue of uncompensated shift work for state employees, despite an agreement established in 2019. According to the trade unions, the promised compensatory measures for shift workers, including a yearly rest period of five days and a salary increase, have yet to be implemented.
In a press release issued jointly by ADESP and OGBL, they express their disappointment, attributing the delay to the integration of measures into a comprehensive draft bill, currently progressing through the legislative process.
In response, ADESP and OGBL are demanding the exclusion of this particular provision from the wider bill on working time in the civil service. They insist that the measures should be promptly applied, retroactively to 2019.
