At around 7pm on 9 June, a collision between a tractor and a car occurred on the N16 towards Remich. In another case, an assault took place in the early hours of 6 June in Esch-sur-Alzette.

The accident occurred when the driver of the car tried to overtake the tractor on a country road. The police are now looking for other drivers who were present at the time and may have witnessed the crash.

Any witnesses are asked to contact the Remich police station, either by calling (+352) 244771000 or by writing an e-mail to Police.REMICHMONDORF@police.etat.lu.

The police are also looking for witnesses in relation to an assault case in Esch-sur-Alzette. Between 2am and 3am on 6 June, two individuals attacked a man in Rue de Belvaux, beating him up before stealing his mobile phone.

The police are looking for two to three people who helped the victim so that a full statement can be taken. Other potential witnesses are of course also asked to contact the police in Esch-sur-Alzette by phone: (+352) 244 50 1000 or by e-mail at the following address: Police.ESCH@police.etat.lu.
