
On Saturday, police were alerted to a burglary in a single-family home in Roeser. According to reports, the break-in had likely taken place several days earlier. Every room had been ransacked, and forensic officers from the technical police unit were on site to secure evidence.
An attempted burglary also took place in a single-family home in Dudelange, on Rue Hubert Clement, sometime between Friday and Saturday afternoon. The perpetrator or perpetrators tried to force open the front door with an unknown object, but were unsuccessful.
Another attempt was reported on Saturday evening, again in Dudelange, this time on Rue Révérend Père Jacques Thiel. Traces of tampering were also found on the front door. According to the police, three suspects fled in the direction of Rue Pasteur after being disturbed by a neighbour. They are believed to be a man and two women, all with light skin and mostly dressed in dark clothing. One of the women was wearing a pink jacket.
