Upon strolling around the capital, a police patrol noticed suspicious behaviour between two individuals on Place de la Gare on Wednesday evening: the two individuals looked suspicious before walking away in different directions.

Suspecting this to have been a drug deal, the patrol asked the presumed dealer to stop, whereupon the latter tried to flee the scene. However, the officers managed to catch up and seize 32 balls of drugs, money, as well as a mobile phone. The man was arrested and brought before a magistrate on Thursday morning.

A second person was arrested for assaulting someone near Avenue de la Porte Neuve. The perpetrator tried to tear the necklace off the victim’s neck, but the victim resisted, prompting the perpetrator to threaten the victim with a knife. Fortunately, the police were able to arrest the perpetrator and bring him before the examining magistrate.
