
The man was searched by the police due to suspicion of drug possession. They managed to seize 14 pellets of cocaine. The man was sent for a scan, which allowed for a further 12 pellets to be discovered. The court ordered for the suspect to appear in front of the examining magistrate.
A similar incident occurred on rue Glesener on Friday evening. During a police check, police officers arrested a man whose Luxembourg residence permit had expired. Police suspected that he was also carrying drugs and ordered the man to be scanned. A total of nine pellets of cocaine were discovered. Again, the court ordered for the drug dealer to face an examining magistrate.
The police also report two break-ins during the night from Friday to Saturday, notably on rue de la Montage in Rosport and rue George Marshall in Luxembourg City.
