Police in Diekirch detained an individual overnight on Monday following the discovery of an active European arrest warrant during standard identity verification procedures.
Authorities notified the public prosecutor’s office, which subsequently issued an arrest order.
The suspect appeared before an examining magistrate on Tuesday morning.
