In an incident on Tuesday, two individuals posing as electricians attempted a scam in the "Om Bechel" street in Asselborn.

The targeted homeowner grew suspicious and summoned a family member to verify the situation. Upon their arrival, the impostors hastily fled the scene.

Responding to the situation, the police initiated a search operation, successfully apprehending the two suspects. Initial investigations revealed that nothing had been stolen from the house, despite the scammers searching through several cupboards. The two men were fined for their attempted fraud.
