According to figures released by the Ministry of the Economy, the price of SP95 petrol will drop by 1.9 cents to €1.442 per litre from midnight on Wednesday. That equates to €72.10 for a standard 50-litre tank.
SP98 will see a slightly steeper decrease, falling by 2.11 cents to €1.548 per litre.
There is no change, however, in the price of diesel, which remains the most affordable option at €1.413 per litre. Heating fuel also remains unchanged, holding steady at €0.856 per litre.
The price adjustment comes amid ongoing fluctuations in global energy markets, with local consumers continuing to feel the impact at the forecourt.
