At around 5.40pm on Tuesday, a collision was reported between two cars on Rue des Trois Cantons in Filsdorf. According to the authorities, one person was rescued by the Dalheim emergency services and taken to A&E by the Dudelange ambulance.
Just after 10.30pm, a major fire broke out on Boulevard Charles de Gaulle in Esch-sur-Alzette. A conveyor belt had caught fire in a warehouse, leaving one person injured. The Esch ambulance and fire brigades from Esch, Sanem-Differdange, Schifflange, Pétange, and Bettembourg were mobilised.
