Passersby had noticed the man at around 10.40am and called the police, who intervened together with the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS). However, the intervention only lasted until about 11am, given the man had climbed back down on his own, as reported by Luxemburger Wort.
Exactly how high the person made it is currently unknown. The climber is currently being questioned by the police and will likely face a fine.
Already in April, another person had climbed to the top of one of the antennae and had to be brought back down in an elaborate rescue operation.
