The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) reports that a series of accidents and incidents across Luxembourg on Sunday left several people injured and saw emergency services respond to collisions, a vehicle fire, and a pedestrian being struck.

Shortly before 12pm, the 112 emergency line received a report of a collision between a bicycle and a car on Route de Thionville in Weiler-la-Tour. One person was injured, and the incident was attended by Luxembourg City’s emergency services, City paramedics, and firefighters from Weiler-la-Tour.

At around 1.29pm, two people were injured on the RN27 between Lultzhausen and Insenborn after two motorbikes collided. Emergency services from the Nordstad Centre and the Alebësch-Eschsauer Centre were deployed to the scene.

Later, at approximately 4.36pm, another collision between a car and a cyclist occurred on Rue d’Asselborn in Troisvierges. Paramedics from Wiltz and firefighters from Troisvierges attended the scene.

In the evening, at around 6pm, a car caught fire on “Op der Nuddelsfabrik” in Dudelange. Firefighters from Dudelange extinguished the blaze.

Finally, at 9.39pm, a pedestrian was struck and injured by a car on Route de Diekirch in Weilerbach. Paramedics from Echternach and firefighters from Berdorf responded to the incident.
