Witness AppealPedestrian injured after being hit by car in Niederkorn

Police are looking for the driver who hit a pedestrian as they were crossing the street in Rue Pierre Gansen at around 7.15am on Tuesday.

The driver stopped to check on the pedestrian. They had a brief conversation during which they both presumed that the pedestrian had not been injured.

The motorist then drove off without providing the pedestrian with any contact information.

The man spoke French and is estimated to be around 45 years old, according to the police. He had short black hair and designer stubble. He was driving a dark blue car.

The driver as well as those with information relevant to the incident are asked to contact the police, either by calling +352 244 53 1000 or by writing an e-mail to police.differdange@police.etat.lu.
