Three years later, Enzo's parents are still waiting for answers from the prosecutor's office.
Not a day has gone by without Patrizia and Roman thinking of their eldest. Enzo died on 11 February 2017 at 8am at the Kannerklinik. He was barely four years old. Widespread bacterial infection and acute gastroenteritis had caused the boy to become severely dehydrated.

His parents had taken him to the Accident and Emergency department in Esch-sur-Alzette for stomach pains, but he was sent home before again being admitted to the paediatric clinic, where he later passed away.

The prosecutor's office launched an investigation several days after Enzo's death, but to date, his parents are still waiting for answers.
