Parc Merveilleux, Luxembourg’s only wildlife park, will reopen to the public on Saturday, 29 March, following its annual winter closure.
The seasonal break allowed staff to complete maintenance work, implement park improvements, and introduce new attractions for 2025. Visitors can now explore a freshly renovated playground, encounter new animal residents, and enjoy enhanced landscaping across the grounds.
Founded in 1956, the Bettembourg park was acquired in 1997 by APEMH (Association of Parents with Children Affected by Mental Disabilities). The organisation has since integrated approximately 100 employees with special needs into the park’s operations.
An opening event will take place on Friday, 28 March. Regular daily operations resume the following day, with visiting hours from 9.30am to 7pm.
