According to motorway network operator Cita, the cement mixer crashed on its side around midday on Friday, blocking the road between Sanem and Biff in the direction of Pétange.
Traffic jams built up quickly as a result of the road block. The authorities advised motorists should leave the motorway at the Differdange/ Gadderscheier exit to avoid the incident.
