Around 8,000 participants representing 436 companies laced up their trainers for the 2026 edition of the Luxembourg Times BusinessRun. The event, which started at the Coque and introduced a new 5km route through Kirchberg, was not only a sporting challenge but also focused on supporting a charitable cause.

For every runner registered, €2 was donated to Fondation Cancer. Additional fundraising initiatives organised around the event brought the total to a generous €34,255.

Blending sport, camaraderie, and solidarity, the BusinessRun once again succeeded in uniting thousands from Luxembourg’s business community for a common cause.

During the cheque handover ceremony, Margot Heirendt, Director of Fondation Cancer, expressed her heartfelt thanks to the organisers, participants, sponsors, and all the companies involved for their support.

Charity initiatives like the BusinessRun help Fondation Cancer continue its core mission: informing the public, providing assistance, and supporting research in the fight against cancer.
