The Easter weekend marked the start of the tourism season in the country.

2,033 people visited the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) between Good Friday and Easter Monday. In a press release, the LCTO notes that this marks a 30% increase compared to 2022.

Most visitors came from Germany, but 135 tourists from Luxembourg also stopped by the Tourist Office. There were also some 100 visitors from North America and nearly 100 from Asia.

Luxembourg City’s famous casemates were fully booked over the Easter weekend. The traditional ‘Emaischen’ market also drew a large number of visitors to the capital.
