A knife-point robbery in Bonnevoie and a hospital alert about ingested drugs led to multiple arrests Friday.

Luxembourg authorities have confirmed two unrelated arrests following distinct incidents on Friday – one involving an armed robbery and another concerning a suspected drug ingestion case.

In the early hours of Friday morning, police responded to a mugging in Bonnevoie, where a victim sustained knife wounds to the arm. Emergency services treated the injuries at the scene. According to investigators, three assailants attacked the individual with a knife and stole their mobile phone. All suspects were later located by police. One, already subject to an active arrest warrant, was transferred to Schrassig Prison.

Later that evening, a person arrived at a Luxembourg City hospital claiming to have ingested drugs. A CT scan revealed over 100 foreign objects in their body. Acting on orders from the public prosecutor’s office, authorities arrested the individual, who was presented to an examining magistrate on Saturday afternoon.
