Many eggs were found to be slightly over the threshold for dioxins and dioxin-like (DL) polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB), which are organic polluants.

The eggs in question are ones distributed by the firm E.K.E, and are sold in Luxembourg in Delhaize, Cora, Carrefour, Match, and Intermarché.

The distributor has decided to recall the eggs in question and asks that those who have bought these organic eggs refrain from consuming them.
