A 76-year-old man died after becoming stuck in the car wash of a petrol station in Koetschette in May 2015. As the man exited his vehicle to start the car wash, he became stuck between his vehicle and the washing machine. The elderly man died from his injuries hours later.
In the conclusion of the trial, the judge ruled acquittals for two of the businesses responsible and a fine of €1,000 for the third business.
