One such incident, a violent collision involving two cars, occurred shortly after 4pm between Mersch and Roost along the N7. Emergency services swiftly arrived at the scene, where one person had sustained injuries in the collision.
Another two-car accident occurred between Sanem and the Biff roundabout at around 4.40pm, slowing traffic on the A13 motorway.
Earlier in the day, at approximately 11.45am, another accident was reported in Gilsdorf, where a car collided with a pole. The rescue helicopter was despatched to the scene to rush the victim to hospital for urgent medical attention.
