According to police reports, a section of the roadway was obstructed following the accident, causing delays in the vicinity of the hotel in Lipperscheid during the early afternoon.
Upon impact, the van, travelling in the direction of Hosingen, veered off the road, ultimately colliding with a tree and overturning in a nearby ditch.
Emergency services swiftly responded to the scene, and one individual was rushed to hospital.
