The teams of the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) had to intervene in several incidents on Friday morning.

Shortly after 4am, an accident occurred on Rue de Beggen in Eich. One person was injured after a car crashed into several parked vehicles. Paramedics from Luxembourg City were at the scene.

At around 6am, one person was injured in a collision involving two cars at the Wasserbillig service area. Firefighters and emergency responders from Mertert attended the scene.

At around 8.15am, a fire broke out on Neie Wee in Schieren. The roof of a house, where construction work is currently underway, caught fire. The street was closed to traffic during the intervention. No injuries were reported.
