
A barn at a farm in Harlange, which is currently being renovated, caught fire on Thursday evening, prompting a significant response from emergency services. Due to the heavy smoke, a warning text message was sent out around 6.30pm to residents in the Harlange area.
Only those living in the immediate vicinity received the alert.

According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), one person was injured as a result of the blaze. Rescue teams from Boulaide, the Stausei municipality, Rambrouch, Redange, and Wiltz were deployed to the scene, along with the Groupe d'appui technologique et opérationnel (GATO), a specialised support unit.
