The incident occurred at around 6.10pm between Pommerloch and the Belgian border, where a driver lost control of his van, resulting in a full-frontal collision with a tree.
He was taken to hospital to receive further treatment for his injuries.
Traffic was said to have progressed slowly on the N15 as a result of the crash.
