One fire in Eppeldorf involved no less than eight fire stations.

Two cars crashed on the RN22 between Boevange-Attert and Useldange at about 6.50 pm on Tuesday. Three people were injured in the accident.

Ambulances from Ettelbruck and Redange as well as fire fighters from Boevange were on site.

Emergency services also reported three fires which caused material damage.

The first fire broke out in a house in Eppeldorf shortly before 5 pm on Tuesday and involved no less than eight fire stations.

Fire fighters came from Ermsdorf, Medernach, Beaufort, Bettendorf, Diekirch, Consdorf, Junglinster, and Colmar-Berg to bring the fire under control.

An ambulance was also sent to the site as a precautionary measure, since the emergency report did not indicate any injured persons.

Fire fighters also had to deal with two kitchen fires in Belvaux and Esch-sur-Alzette respectively. The fires broke out on late Tuesday evening. No one was injured in these incidents.
