
The central demands made by ANIL focus on the reduction of workloads and prevention of burn-outs. The Association argues that the work-life balance of nurses needs to improve, which they say can for instance be done through predictable work schedules published two months ahead of time.
Other issues addressed by the ANIL on Wednesday were administrative challenges for employees and overall staff shortages in the sector.
On Thursday, the national Hospital Federation is expected to present their white paper and vision for Luxembourg’s healthcare sector until the year 2030.
