Several people were reported to the police in Luxembourg City's Gare district following a fight on Saturday afternoon. One of the participants is said to have thrown a gas cylinder at another person after the scuffle and behaved inappropriately towards a woman. The heavily intoxicated man was found a short time later by officers and taken into custody.
Two drunken individuals were caught harassing people on Strassen's Route d'Arlon on Saturday evening. One was taken into custody and submitted to medical checks due to his refusal to cooperate with police.
Another intoxicated man landed in a cell overnight after displaying inappropriate behaviour at a café on Rue du Fort Wedell in the capital.
In Aspelt, a motorist was spotted weaving unsteadily across the road at 1pm on Sunday. Officers visited the man at home a short time later and issued a driving ban and a fine for drink driving.
Finally, a burglary was reported at 5pm on Sunday in Clausen. The thief made off with a set of car keys and a vehicle. Police advise the public to always lock doors and windows and not to leave keys in the locks.
