Good news for the roughly 250 Bram employees after the sale of the clothing store. Talks between the new managament and a delegation from the staff revealed that there will be no immediate changes for them.
David Angel, secretary general at the OGBL, sounded fairly optimistic in an interview with RTL:
"The staff will be taken over in full, as well as the current employment contract and hopefully the collective agreement, too. It doesn't currently look like there will be redundancies. We obviously hope this won't change over the next few months. But we will be following the situation carefully."
The collective agreement is to be renegotiated in autumn.
German company Breuninger had confirmed on Monday they would be acquiring the clothing store.
