CGDIS units were kept busy Friday night as a series of road accidents left 12 people injured across Luxembourg.

On Friday night, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) responded to a series of road accidents across Luxembourg, resulting in multiple injuries.

The first incident occurred at 4.49pm on the CR163 near Abweiler, heading toward Leudelange, where a collision between two cars left two people injured.

Shortly after, at 6.05pm, a single-car crash on the CR109 in Capellen, en route to Olm, injured one person.

An hour later, at approximately 7.05pm, a collision between a car and a motorcycle on the N12 toward Buderscheid, in the direction of Wiltz, resulted in another injury.

The most severe accident took place at 8.53pm in Mondorf-les-Bains on Avenue Lou Hemmer, where a crash involving two cars left three people injured.

Less than 15 minutes later, at 9.08pm, another two-car collision occurred in Hollerich, Luxembourg City, on Rue de l’Abattoir, injuring one person.

Overnight, further incidents were reported. At 2.30am on the CR347 in Schieren, in the direction of Stegen, a car veered into a ditch, though no injuries were recorded.

Subsequent accidents resulted in additional casualties. At 3.18am in Gilsdorf, a collision on Rue Principale left one person injured. Six minutes later, at 3.24am, another two-car crash occurred in Hollerich on Boulevard Pierre Dupong, injuring one individual.

The final reported incident took place at 3.45am on the A4 toward Luxembourg City, where a car ended up in a ditch, leaving two people injured.
