SNCT centre in the NorthNew technical inspection centre in Marnach to open between end of March and mid-April

RTL Today
The new SNCT technical inspection centre due to replace the Wilwerwiltz location could open by the end of the month, Minister for Mobility and Public Works François Bausch has said.

Responding to a parliamentary question submitted by the ADR MP Jeff Engelen, Bausch revealed that construction works are about complete and the only remaining work is to fit technical installations.

The estimated opening date of the new centre, whose adjacent SNCA office has already opened, is between end of March and mid-April.

The SNCT (National Society of Automotive Traffic) will move out of its Wilwerwiltz location in steps. The new and improved centre in Marnach will have the capacity to inspect up to 100 cars a day, including all types of vehicles.

Bausch confirmed that tractors will also be able to use the centre, answering the MP's specific question about their eligibility.
