Roughly 600 doctors and 4,000 patients have signed up to the new platform, with almost 3,000 virtual consultations taking place since the platform was launched.

In response to numerous questions from healthcare professionals and from patients, new explanations have been published on the official website of the eSanté agency.

It will now be easier for patients to find the list of participating doctors, including general practitioners but also other specialists and paediatricians.

A tutorial has also been developed to show patients how to use the remote consultation platform.

In addition, a smartphone app has also been available in Luxembourg since 30 March. The Maela app is intended for people who test positive for Covid-19, with around 388 patients using it. The app allows patients to enter their symptoms in order to monitor their state of health.

The https://suivicovid.lu/ site has been set up, allowed patients to receive advice in five languages.
