La nouvelle passerelle du Kirchberg est ouverte
La nouvelle passerelle qui relie l’avenue John F. Kennedy au parc des Trois Gland au Kirchberg est ouverte aux piétons et aux cyclistes.

The futuristic-looking bridge, located in the European quarter in Kirchberg, was officially inaugurated in the presence of several political figures this Friday.

The bridge crosses the Trois Glands forest and provides a link between one of the most important thoroughfares to the Mudam and Dräi Eechelen museums. The 12-metre high bridge, which spans 87 metres in length, will facilitate access to the site and improve its visibility. The goal is to increase the number of visitors to the park and its cultural institutions.

Made of stainless steel which has been mirror-polished, the bridge has a unique appearance. The idea behind this was to reduce the impact on the environment and the existing trees through its shape and layout.
