RTL Today
E.coli bacteria has been detected in samples of Lidl's "Neufchâtel Artisanal Villiers" cheese, leading to a product recall.

Consuming a product with Escherichia coli 026-bacteria can lead to stomach issues and fever within a week of consumption. This also poses a risk to the kidneys, particularly in children.

The cheese, which is sold in Lidl stores in Luxembourg, has been withdrawn from shelves. The affected products, sold from 24 January to 22 February, have a use-by date of 5 March and bear the code 3473220020023.

The food safety authorities advise against consuming this product.
