In Schifflange, an altercation between two neighbours escalated on Saturday after one of them urinated on the other’s balcony. When authorities came to the scene, one of the neighbours was drunk and began making racist remarks and pushing the officers. They therefore arrested him and placed him in a cell to sober up. According to police, the neighbours have been feuding for a long time.
At 5am on Sunday, a motorist crashed into a taxi in Weiler-la-Tour and then fled the scene of the accident. However, the taxi driver managed to alert the police and follow the hit-and-run driver home. Officers subjected the fugitive to an alcohol test and revoked his driving license.
At 5.30am, a motorist lost control over his vehicle on the N26 near Bavigne and landed in a roadside ditch. The driver then abandoned the vehicle and made his way towards the town on foot. Here, police picked him up, checked him, and revoked his driving license.
