The strike revolves around key demands, including a 2.5% pay increase and the inclusion of three additional days of holiday in the collective agreement.

Recent information obtained by RTL indicates that negotiations between the management and representatives of the Independent Luxembourg Trade Union Confederation (OGBL) have been underway for several days. While the exact status of these negotiations remains undisclosed, it is apparent that both parties are engaged in discussions.

The hope is to achieve a mutually agreeable resolution before the holidays, considering the interests of both the employees and the company. However, the complexity of the negotiations raises the possibility that talks may extend beyond the holiday period.

Ampacet employs around 60 workers.
