The Independent Luxembourg Trade Union Confederation (OGBL) and the Luxembourg Confederation of Christian Trade Unions (LCGB) issued a joint statement on Tuesday announcing that negotiations on the renewal of the collective agreement have once again reached an impasse.

CEBI employees have not received a collective wage increase for the past ten years. Despite the start of negotiations, which the trade unions described as “constructive”, management has reportedly set new conditions for accepting a collective pay rise.

The trade unions plan to organise events and information meetings for CEBI employees.
