Asked by RTL, municipality and police officials both confirmed that these were part of a film set. A production is currently telling the story of two Luxembourgish resistance fighters who fled under the Nazi regime.
The film is being produced by Marc Thoma and Marc Keimen in collaboration with the ASBL Filmengelcher for the Union of Luxembourg Resistance Movements.
Whilst production is nearly complete, an important scene that took place in Echternach was filmed on Thursday.
