Luxembourg's Minister for Mobility is yet to confirm the exact launch date.
The camera was installed towards the end of last year. The National Roads Authority launched the test phase of the camera on 13 December. No fines are issued during the test phase, and all recorded details are deleted. The speed camera calculates the average speed of all motorists over a length of 3,900 meters. National certification office SNCH is currently concluding the homologation process.
The speed camera will most likely be operational in April. The maximum speed allowed on this section is 90km/h for cars and 75km/h for lorries.
