
The police responded swiftly on Saturday after receiving a report of a man carrying a knife in a park in Bonnevoie. A patrol located the suspect, who was under the influence of alcohol, but had not threatened anyone with the weapon. He was taken into custody to sober up and placed under arrest.
In Ettelbruck, two teenagers assaulted and robbed another youth, stealing his necklace. The attackers fled after a bystander intervened, discarding the stolen item. Despite a police search, the suspects could not be located.
Another robbery occurred in Luxembourg City, on Avenue de la Porte-Neuve, where a man was injured and robbed of his watch and phone. The victim suffered a minor arm injury, and an investigation has been launched.
Later that evening, officers were called to the Gare neighbourhood following a dispute between three individuals. Two of them were already known to police from an earlier disturbance. After continued disruptive behaviour and concerns for their safety, they were detained after medical evaluation.
The detention cell received another occupant early Sunday morning at 5am. During an intervention on Rue de la Boucherie, a man verbally assaulted police officers and refused to calm down, prompting his arrest for disturbing public order.
