Police officers made an arrest early on on Monday morning, as they had been called to break up a fight between two men at 8.30 am. The two men were visibly drunk and had broken out into fisticuffs in a garage. At the same moment that the police officers asked both men for proof of identity, a small packet containing what turned out to be cocaine fell out of one of the men's pockets.
After the police searched the man, they found three more bags on his person alongside two others hidden in the garage. In total, the police seized six packages containing a combined total of 21 grams of cocaine. The man was arrested and scheduled to stand before an investigating magistrate on Tuesday morning.
Later on in the day, a police patrol was cruising down Route de Thionville when the officers encountered two men who proceeded to flee upon the sight of the police patrol. The officers found one of the men on Rue de Hollerich with a number of bags of drugs on his person. The police officers were also able to find his companion not long after.
When officers searched the man's home, they were unable to find more narcotics but the man was nevertheless arrested for the drugs found on his person.
