The emergency services were kept busy on Tuesday, responding to several road accidents and a fire.

The fire occurred in the tripoint region in southern Luxembourg (where the borders of Luxembourg, Germany and France meet). An apartment caught fire on Bahnhofstraße in Perl on Tuesday morning. The Remich fire brigade and the 'Dräi-Länner-Eck' platoon leader were at the scene to quickly extinguish the fire. There were no injuries.

The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps also intervened in road accidents on Dräikantonstrooss in Filsdorf and Lëtzebuergerstrooss in Frisange. There were no injuries in these accidents.

Just after 3pm, a motorcyclist was injured after falling off his vehicle on the Larochette N14 towards Heffingen.

A car and motorbike were involved in a collision on Rue Nicolas Martha in Luxembourg City on Tuesday evening at 7.15pm. One person was injured in the crash.

Not long after midnight on Wednesday, a car overturned on Route du Vin in Machtum. There was only material damage to report in the incident.
