Papers pleaseMultiple cautions during a police check in Diekirch

RTL Today
Police in Diekirch, Vianden and Ettelbrück were checking papers on the route from Ettelbrück to Diekirch last week.

Three motorists received fines because their tax certificates had expired more than 60 days ago.

Three further drivers were cautioned because their technical inspection certificates had expired. One person was sanctioned because they were unable to produce their vehicle's papers, and another because they were driving with an invalid licence.

One driver was sanctioned because he did not have insurance and his vehicle's tyres did not conform to regulations. He was also driving under the influence and in spite of a driving ban. His vehicle was therefore seized by the public prosecutor's office.

Another motorist was fined for driving without valid papers and licence.
