In the first case, the victim was assaulted just after disembarking from a train at Pétange station. Three unidentified men held them down and threatened them with a knife. The criminals wanted to get their hands on the victim’s mobile phone. Following the successful theft, the perpetrators fled the scene. The victim was not injured. An ongoing investigation is being conducted to apprehend those responsible.
In Bertrange, on Rue Pletzer, residents of a single-family home stumbled upon a burglar in their bicycle storage room. The intruder managed to escape with a stolen bicycle.
Meanwhile, in Bergem, burglars seemingly gained access by scaling the garage roof, enabling them to reach a first-floor window on Rue des Champs and infiltrate a residence. The perpetrators stole some jewellery.
Both incidents are currently under investigation.
