On Tuesday evening, Luxembourg police carried out inspections at several bars in Ettelbruck. During the operation, officers issued multiple fines for drug possession and identified several individuals who had been previously flagged – among other reasons, for residence permit violations. While the police did not provide exact figures, they confirmed that one person was fined for illegal arms possession.
In a separate incident, authorities in Luxembourg City reported a mugging in the Gare neighbourhood. An unidentified assailant threatened a pedestrian and stole their wallet. Despite an immediate search, the suspect was not located. An investigation into the incident is underway.
