PoliceMugging in Dudelange; two drunk drivers caught

A mugging was reported at “op der Haard” in Dudelange on Monday evening after the victim had their necklace ripped from around their neck. The perpetrator fled following the incident. Police have launched an investigation.

Overnight, a police patrol noticed someone driving the wrong way down a one-way street on Rue d’Epernay in Luxembourg City. When stopped, the driver was made to perform a breathalyser test.

Early on Tuesday morning, another patrol spotted a car weaving across the A7 motorway towardsthe capital. The driver was stopped at a petrol station in Senningerberg and made to undergo a breathalyser test, which returned positive results. Officers confiscated the driver’s licence as a result.
