On Sunday morning, a motorist collided with a lamppost on Rue du Sanatorium, Vianden. After testing positive for both drugs and alcohol at the scene, the individual was made to relinquish their driving licence to police.

Another motorist received a provisional driving ban after a collision caused by drink driving on the N15 near Wiltz.

At around 11pm, a driver was spotted zigzagging across the A7 motorway. A police patrol pulled the vehicle over and administered a breathalyser test, later issuing a driving ban following the positive result.

In Ettelbruck, officers conducted a search of a vehicle at the Deich car park due to a strong smell of cannabis. The driver failed a drugs test and the vehicle’s tyres were found to be sub-standard.

Shortly before midnight, police received reports of a car crashing into a parked vehicle near Place des Sacrifiés 1940-1945 in Esch-sur-Alzette. The driver failed to stop at the scene, but was later pulled over by a police patrol. He was issued with a ban after failing a breathalyser test.
